Visitors first make their way to the 45th Floor. From there, they can make their way to the upper levels after an ID check. You do want to go to the top.
The top floor of the Octave features a full 360 degree view of the city. It is a good place to catch the sunset.
Looking towards the southwest gives you more urban sprawl.
And you can see the Bangkok BTS Sukhumvit Line slice through the city to the northwest with the central core in the distance.
The Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar is to the southeast of downtown Bangkok, like the nearby Cielo Sky Bar & Restaurant. Thus, try to stay towards the northwest part of the venue to see the tall buildings and possibly a sunset.
